UPDATES

7:30 pm. Rancocas Valley comes from way back on the anchor leg to win the girls 4x400 in 3:49.31. Union Catholic 2nd in 3:48.37. RV's splits - Soph. Alyssa Leak 57.5. Freshman Anabella Chin 59.2. Monmouth-bound senior Brianna Snowden-56.7. Soph. Sheriyah Nutt anchored in 54.8.     

7:05 p.m. Elizabeth wins the boys 4x400 for the first time ever in 3:17.39. Spits- Gabriel Nash-48.5. Antonio Roopchand-49.4. Tre'Quan Lomax-49.9. Clarence Wilkins -48.1. Wilkins came from way back to catch West Side anchor James Bell!!

6:45  Ridge sweeps the boys and girls 4x800's!!!!! 

6:05 p.m. Soph. Floyd Whittaker of Highland goes 50-2.50 to break the boys meet record in the TJ!!!!!  That's a state soph. record!!

6:00pm Alexa Westley makes it three straight winning the 3200m with plenty of room to spare! 10:15.82! 2nd All-Time in meet history. 

5:50pm - 60-11 for the shot put win from Lucciano Pizarro! 

5:42 p.m. Girls 3,200 is next!!!

5:40pm GET UR DEVIN HART 3-PEAT ON!!! He makes it three 3 in a row in the 3200m! Leaves the field behind with a huge last lap kick. Hart wins in 9:03.07. Hart went 60.1 for his last 400 to blast away from the pack!!!! That's 6 M of C titles in Hart's career!!!! What a career for Hart. One of the best ever!!!!    

5:12 p.m. DENNISHA PAGE WINS AGAIN, 23.66 IN THE 200!!! She also won the 100!!

5:04 p.m. WOAHH!!!!!! HOLY HESLOP !!! HE WINS THE 200 IN A 20.74, well under the satte recored of 20.93!!!! But the wind reading was NWI. Meet officials say it will go down as the new meet and state record?? But there was no wind reading. The wind gauge didn't pick up anything. It's the only 200 heat that didn't that didn't pick up a wind reading. The other heats had 0.0 as did every other sprint and hurdle race?? More to come on this.  


4:54 pm - Victoria Vanriele wins another 800m MOCs title making this six straight! 2:05.43!!!! Leena Morant of Union Catholic is 2nd as Union County goes 1-2!!!

4:43pm - Luis Peralta takes the 800m running 1:53.26, cool and collected kick for the win. 

4:35pm - Dennisha Page wins a tight one with Princz 11.86 to 11.87 at the line for the 100m final. 

4:30 p.m. Mario Heslop win the boys 100 with a 10:54!!

4:24 p.m. Jaheem Hayles of Roselle wins the boys HH in 13.55. Sincere Rhea stopped prior to the second hurdle. Not sure what happened??   

4:13 pm Grace O'Shea of Ramapo wins the girls HH in 13.59!!

4:12  pm.. Tara Zeini of RBC goes 19-2 into a headwind to win the girls LJ NJ#1!

4:09 p.m. Shauntae Nelson of Piscataway comes from way back to win the girls 400 54.77

4:06 p.m. Sincere Rhea of St. Augustine wins the boys 400m run in 47.89.  

4:00 p.m. The boys 400's are next. It's still very windy here. The wind gauge keeps reading 0.0. I'm told it's working. 

3:57 p.m. The Union Catholic girls win the 4x100 in a Union County record 47.05, No. 3 in meet history!!! 

3:50 p.m. Girls 4x100 is next

3:49 p.m. What a race in the boys 4x100!!! Hamilton North edged St. Peter's Prep, 41-71 to 41.72!!!!

3:40 p.m. Mark Anselmi of Middletown South wins the boys HJ by clearing 6-8.

3:38pm - Chloe Gonzalez of North Hunterdon takes the 1600m title!!! Upsets goes past top seed Loveys off the final turn  and runs a monster last lap of 67.3 seconds. What a run! PR of 4:47.21 official!! Loveys second in 4:49.49. 

3:26 p.m. Girls 1,600 is next. Loveys going for 2 in a row.

3:25pm - Sean Dolan!!!!! 1600m winner with an NJ#1 time of 4:09.14!  64.8, 2:06.3, 3:12.1, and a 57.0 last 400m! Hard to believe this is his first MOC individual title. Will Baginksi of Ridgewood is 2nd. 

3:11 p.m. Boys 1,600 is next. 2 sections. I'm calling for a meet record here!! It's 4:07.31 by Chris Marco of Toms River South set in 2012. What do you think?? How low will Sean Dolan go!!!  

3:10 p.m. Grace O'Shea of Ramapo just crushed the last girls HH trial race. O'Shea runs NJ#1 13.55!!!t h That's No. 5 in meet history-in the trials!!!! How low will she go in the final!!!! 

3:00 p.m. Girls 100 dash trials were led by Dennisha Page in 11.63.

2:55 p.m. Sincere Rhea goes 13.78 to lead all trial times in the boys HH

2:50pm - Boys 100m Dash trials led by Mario Heslop at 10.60 Thomas Hampton of Clayton second ranked second at 10.66. 

2:26 p.m. 100m dash trials and hurdles on deck

2:24 p.m. Brandon Moran of Union wins the 1,600 wheelchair race in 4:48.29

2:20 pm.. Wheelchair 1,600 is next

2:19 p.m. It didn't loing for an upset!!! Arianna Smith of Pennsville wins the girls 400H in an NJ#1 1:00.13.!!! Smith's PR before today was 1:02.11 from when she won the Group 1 title last week.

2:08 p.m. Girls 400H is next. 4 heats, Grace O"Shea of Ramapo scratched from this. She'' focus on the HH.  

2:05 p.m. Ramy Berberena of North Brunswick wins the boys 400 IH in 52.23!!!

1:57 p.m. The first gun of the day goes off!!! Good luck to everyone!!!! GET UR PR'S ON!!!

1:56 p.m. Here we go!!!!!! Boys 400 IH is first. 5 heats 

1:55 p.m. National Anthem is complete.  

12:45 p.m. 15 minutes away from the start of the wheelchair field events.

12:15 p.m. The meet will get going at 1 p.m. with the wheelchair field events.The rest of the meet gets rolling at 2 p.m.. 

12:00 p.m. GET UR NJ TRACK AND FIELD ON!!!! The best high school sporting event of the season in NJ is here!!!!  I don't want to hear about baseball and softball or lacrosse etc. No other sport has what track and field has-36 STATE CHAMPS WILL BE CROWNED TODAY!!! ALL AT ONE PLACE!!!!    

12:00 p.m. Just rolled into Northern Burlington. Perfect weather in the low 70's, but it's a bit windy. Right now its a cross wind at the start lines for the 100 dash and high hurdles.
