On Monday night during the East Coast Relays in Randolph, New Jersey Watchung Hills junior Bradley Jelmert vaulted a new PR of 16-00.25. The height moves him up to tie for eighth all-time in state outdoor history, the first to break 16-00 since Andrew Ghizzone in 2014, and he is just the 12th from NJ to ever clear the height outdoors. Jelmert is tied with Peter Fagan of Westfield who cleared the same height in 2013 at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. 

This performance is coming off a 15-07.75 clearance at the Somerset County Championships just a week ago. He entered this season with an outdoor PR of 14-01.25, though he did clear 15-07.25 this past indoors.

  • Boys Sprint Medley - Hopewell Valley and Rancocas Valley went off running the top two times in the state this season and it pushes Hopewell to US#5! Hopewell Valley earned the win with a school record 3:28.40 over Rancocas Valley's 3:30.69. Sean Dolan has been reported to have run 1:51.4 on his anchor leg of the SMR. 
  • Boys Shuttle - Kearny ran to the win defeating St. Benedict's Prep with a time of 59.99! They move to NJ#2 on the season. St. Benedict's Prep clocked 1:00.29 for NJ#3. 
  • Girls Shot Put - Trinity Tullo-McVicar of Voorhees threw 42-07.5 to move up to NJ#3 on the season. One of just three NJ girls to break 42 feet this spring. 
  • Girls 4x800m - Ridge girls run NJ#2 time of 9:14.95 to win.
