New Jersey MileSplit All-State Teams for Indoor 2019

Here are the girls MileSplit New Jersey All-State teams for the 2019 indoor track and field season. Remember these teams are open to all of our New Jersey athletes in high school. So while the NJSIAA state championships will still hold some weight these teams aren't restricted to them.

Season of work with Nationals included, quality of performances, head to head match-ups, and so on will make sure our very best high school stars in New Jersey make the cut.

For the first through third teams an athlete will be listed once even if they did work in multiple events, freshmen who make the first three teams will still be listed as part of the freshmen team.

Abby Loveys definitely had a season to remember in the 1600m and 3200m, and she's been on point since the start of cross country so expect big things this outdoor as well. This despite missing Groups and MOCs due to the flu.

She ran a 4:53.02 to win Morris County Championships back in January in a double duel with Julia Trethaway, recommend watching those step for step races here. And even though it isn't recorded as an individual time she put down a monster split on Randolph's All-American DMR where she finished in 4:48.02 over 1600m. She came back to run a 10:21.00 in the two mile the next day, NJ#3 all-time, read more on the amazing double.

Add in that 4:56.80 1600m from Morris County Championships for good measure.

We had multiple high quality individuals in this event, be sure to check out the notes on Abby Loveys who is listed first team All-State in the 1600m.

That height moved her up to NJ#2 all-time indoors.
