The Winslow title was partly orchestrated by a two win showcase by star senior Tionna Tobias who brought in the 55m dash and hurdles 10 point wins running 7.23 and 8.20. She was also fourth in the high jump clearing 5-0. They also saw points from Janeya Hammond who was fifth in the 55m dash and third in the 400m running 59.43.

Jaia James scored sixth for the 55m dash as well, and their 4x400m team closed the meet out with a win at 4:01.40. They totaled 43 points after the ten event meet concluded.

For the Scotch Plains boys their 39 to 29 victory over second overall Hamilton North was the first in their history. Jacob Leigh opened the meet up with a win in the 400m running 50.56, he would also earn third in the 55m dash at 6.56. In the hurdles Kyle Estivene ran to fourth with a time of 7.77 after advancing out of prelims ranked seventh.

Some pretty big names from this Group that we won't see at MOCs for certain events. A past Meet of Champions winner, Abby Loveys of Randolph came down with the flu and wasn't able to compete, she would have likely contended for the 1600m and or 3200m. Also the State's top hurdler Grace O'Shea unfortunately lost balance during the prelims for the 55m hurdles and did not make it to advance in that event, we will see her compete in the 55m dash however.
