A Quick Merge Overview

On the boys side we had a tight race won by Christian Brothers Academy scoring 89 in the overall merge and 64 in the New Jersey only listing. They averaged 16:41 and split a mere 37.7 between their top five! CBA was led by Brian Hill who had the seventh fastest time of the meet at 16:17. 

Colts Neck was a close second in both merges with a 16:44 average, they were led by Jordan Brannan fourth overall at 16:11. Voorhees brings up third with a 17:02 average.

The fastest boy of the meet was David Principe of La Salle Academy who ran a course record time of 15:23.  He would lead La Salle to a fourth place finish in the merge scoring 192 points. Rey Rivera of Old Bridge was the fastest New Jersey athlete, second overall at an impressive 16:06. 

For the girls Milton high school of Massachusetts won the overall meet merge as a team with 65 points and a team average of 20:35. They were led by Bridget Mitchell third overall at 19:41. For New Jersey Robbinsville led the state in the overall merge and Princeton took the honors on the state only list. Both versions they were separated by less than five points! Princeton averaged 21:27 led byChloe Taylor at 20:36 and Robbinsville averaged 21:18 with Lauren Kroepfl their number one at 19:32. 

The individuals list was topped by junior Caroline Timm of Our Lady of Lourdes (NY) with the only sub-19 time of 18:58. New Jersey was led by Robbinsville's Lauren Kroepfl second overall clocking in at 19:32.
