Here is the meet merge for the Stewart Memorial Championships from this past Saturday. We took all the 5K times from this meet and combined them into one big scoring list.
On the boys side Metuchen led the merge team wise with 66 points and a team average of 16:36, splitting a mere 17 seconds between their top five! Jake Beacher started their scoring with a 16:27 for the ninth fastest of the meet, he was second in the Varsity B race.
Individually Matt Grossman of Millburn torched the course in the Varsity A race winning with a 15:29, the best time of the meet and third all-time on the Greystone Course. Grossman is only behind Josiah Hanko and Joe Dragon who ran 15:24 and 15:28 in previous years.
For the girls merge Middletown South held strong against talented Westfield and Rumson-Fair Haven squads. They scored 96 points led by Madison Brand's 19:18 in the Varsity A race, the second fastest time of the meet. The fastest time went to another Millburn athlete, Katie Delidow placed first in the Varsity A with a time of 19:03. Delidow's time is the second fastest for the meet since it switched to Greystone Park.
