Boys Notes

The Indian Hills boys had a big day on Saturday leading both the state and overall team meet merges.  Including all the out of states the Braves led with 30 points, an average of 16:10, and a top five split of 32 seconds. Their success started with junior Steven Fiumefreddo who won the Varsity B race running 15:52, he ranked second overall for the meet. Following him with the third and fourth fastest times of the meet were teammates Tom Holster and Derek Barney clocked in at 16:08 and 16:09. Chris Corcoran and Chris Leymeister finished up the Indian Hills top five, full details on the meet merge. 

The top individual hailed from the state of New York, Ryan Gallagher of Briarcliff won the boys Varsity D race early in the day and his time of 15:47 held up to lead the meet. He was only nine seconds off the course record and now ranks third all time, the course was changed in 2013.

Girls Notes

In the New Jersey merge Colts Neck had a strong showing with 71 points and a team average of 19:50. They were led by Colleen Megerie who scored four with a 19:07. The overall merge was taken by North Penn (PA) with 119 points, pushing down Colts Neck to second with 155. North Penn averaged 19:26 and were led by Ariana Gardizy. 

The individual merge was led overall by Toms River North's freshmen stand out Jade Tricomy who set the course record at 18:09! The previous best time was set in 2013 by Kelly Hayes of Pearl River when she posted an 18:12.
