Analysis: Matt Grossman should have loads of confidence heading into the 2016 season. He finished fourth at the New Jersey state cross country meet behind three seniors, which makes him the de facto favorite this season. On the track, Grossman enjoyed similar results, and finished eighth at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional behind a pack of seniors and the meet winner, Noah Affolder. Grossman's 16:06.80 was good 35th place finish at Foot Locker Nationals.

Another impressive accolade to Grossman's name is a New Jersey state 3200m title, which he ran in 9:06.25 at the New Jersey State Meet of Champions. Watch out for Grossman this fall as he aims to roll with the momentum of his impressive 2015 season.
