On a cold and rainy Saturday at Matawan high school, the Monmouth Regional girls got out to a great start in the 1600 sprint medley relay and never looked back. They went on to finish first over both divisions running 4:17.08 now ranked NJ#1 so far this season.

Other big performances from this meet included... A NJ#1 in the girls javelin by Ali Chomsky of Ocean Twp, she marked 120-9. Semaj Willis of Trenton Central cleared 6-06 in the boys high jump for NJ#1, and also for Trenton Central their 4x200 went NJ#1 with a time of 1:30.94. In the girls shot put relay Baye Juntunen and Stephanie Bock of Howell led with 38-10.75 and 38-7.5, the two best throws of the meet and NJ top ten.
Both divisions ran together in mixed heats.
