Watch our post race interview with Julia Guerra above as she speaks about her victory in the Meet of Champions 3200 meter race last weekend. She is now ranked NJ#1 US#6 and is fifth all-time at the Toms River Bubble. Being modest about her two mile capabilities in the interview, she is now a two time Group Champion in the event, she focused on using her foot speed from the mile to her advantage this state season. This was Julia's third straight win in the 3200 meter event, winning every level of the state meets from sectionals to the big show. At Groups, 10:42.72, and the Meet of Champions, 10:35.70 NJ#1 US#6, she laid down huge kicks to set herself apart from the rest of the field. This talented senior will be attending Penn State University next fall.
