On Saturday Mike Zupko improved upon his own NJ#1 time by winning the 400 meter dash at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions with a time of 49.35. It was a close fought battle for the lead which he took over late into the race from Luke Colehower of Haddonfield who ran 49.44 in second.
One of the state's more consistent producers, this was Zupko's third straight sub-50 time in the 400 meter and his eighth straight victory in the event. He also broke his own Christian Brothers Academy school record.
With his last high school race at the Bubble behind him the Princeton University commit is now ranked 17th all-time at the venue with his latest run of 49.35. Check the full all-time list below as well as other related links.
