Thanks to Jamie Wilson for submitting the video. Alyssa Wilson threw over 54 feet for the second time this season last night! Wilson opened this indoor with a state record mark of 54-5 and showed she could get there again with her mark of 54-2 at the STCA Last Chance Meet in Toms River.
If we counted every throw from the girls shot put throwers nationally... Wilson would own the top NINE marks of this season! Sophia Rivera of Brentwood HS in Missouri who ranks US#2 hasn't gone over 52-00 this season.
New Jersey girls throwing owns five of the top ten positions nationally this season in the shot put.
