Competing for Team USA McLaughlin won gold at the IAAF World Youth Championships this past summer running 55.94 in the 400m Hurdles setting the championship meet record. Also up for the USATF award: Vashti Cunningham, Norman Grimes, Candace Hill, and Sammie Watson.
