Unfortunately one of the top athletes in the state will most likely sit out the rest of the fall season. Hamilton North's star distance runner Grace Dwyer "has been dealing with a piriformis injury" according to her mother (As reported by Jim Lambert / NJ Advanced Media).

She will most likely miss the state championship meets and is aiming for a strong healthy return on the track. Last spring Grace Dwyer won the NJSIAA Meet of Champions 3200m event running 10:21.46.

Dwyer has not raced in any invitationals this fall, a season where she entered as the fifth fastest returner for the state meet course at Holmdel Park. Last year she placed eighth at the cross country Meet of Champions running 18:42.

Back in September the talented senior announced a verbal commitment to Furman University.
