The Union Catholic girls set a NJ state record in the 4x400m at the Adidas Grand Prix on Saturday running a winning time of 3:38.87!! That ranks them US#1 so far during the soon to be closing 2015 outdoor season.

A run where the girls were looking to break 3:40 they ran well under that goal defeating other talented teams including Jamaica's Vere Tech 3:44.34, Columbia HS at 3:47.84, Lenape at 3:49.86, and McArthur at 3:57.74. Union Catholic had just run 3:44.20 to win the girls Meet of Champions 4x400 meter event the previous week with a different lineup.

A side note to the great day, Tia Livingston had JUST made it to the race on time after testing for the ACTs Saturday morning. Definitely a nerve racking day and a big time event but everyone stepped up to the occasion!

Awesome work girls!
