Boys 110m Hurdles
Taylor McLaughlin just left his prelim heat behind while running the slower section and makes the finals with the fastest South A time of 14.13! That is a Non-Public Sectional record breaking the 14.26 ran by Selwyn Maxwell of Don Bosco back in 2011.
North A leading qualifier was Luke Mayer of Delbarton at 14.92.
FINALS
North A - Daniel Wachenfeld of Seton Hall finishes first with a time of 15.10. A really close finish with Luke Mayer of Delbarton who ran 14.92 in prelims but posted 15.10 in finals for second.
South A - Taylor McLaughlin hits an even faster time of 13.94 to win the finals! NJ#2
Girls 100m Hurdles
Tia Livingston of Union Catholic leads us into South A finals with a 15.10.
Elizabeth Garcia from the Academy of Holy Angels clocks in at 15.16 to lead North A into the finals.
FINALS
North A - Elizabeth Garcia of the Academy of Holy Angels takes gold with a 15.30 in finals after her 15.16 prelim performance.
South A - Tia Livingston of Union Catholic improves her prelim time with a 14.95 for the win.
Boys 800m Run
Drake Anzano of CBA went out in around 58 while sitting second and brought home a big kick for the South A win at 1:55.20!
Jon Buck of Pope John XXIII wins the single heat for North A with a 1:56.39. Tight race all the way around.
Girls 800m Run
North A girls was won by Maria Acosta for Paramus Catholic at 2:15.21
South A was won by Chandi Piiru of Union Catholic with a time of 2:16.55.
Boys Shot Put
North A was won by Michael Dwumfour of Depaul with a mark of 51-02.25.
Boys 4x100m Relay
Bergen Catholic wins the North A with a time of 43.30 and a controlled lead over the rest of the field.
South A won by Bishop Eustace with a 44.10 almost .42 over the rest of the field.
Girls 4x100m Relay
Paramus Catholic run 49.60 well ahead of the rest of the field to win North A.
South A was won by Union Catholic with a 50.02.
Boys Pole Vault
North A James McGuire of Seton Hall wins with an 11-00 clearance. Chris Beute of Delbarton second with am 11-00 height as well.
South A won by Marc Reeder of St. Augustine clearing 13-00.
Boys 3200m Run
Boys South A - Blaise Ferro of CBA holds off a lead taking move by Shawn Hutchison of Bishop Eustace with 1000m to go by producing a solid kick of his own on the final lap. Official Times - Ferro 1st with 9:27.89, Shawn Hutchison 9:36.82.
Boys North A - Patrick Sullivan of Don Bosco wins with a 9:25.82, his teammates David Rosa 9:28.45 and Zack Weland 9:32.13 finish a 1-3 sweep.
Girls 3200m Run
South A - Nora Honrath of St. John Vianney wins with an 11:05.09.
Girls Triple Jump
North A - Rosie Menyhart of Paramus Catholic wins with a jump of 34-09.25.
South A - Tyler Scott of Union Catholic wins with a 35-06 mark.
Girls High Jump
Steele Stokley of Paul VI clears 5-04 to win the South A.
Samantha Fellowes from the Academy of Holy Angels wins with a 5-00 clearance. Monica McGavin of Kent Place second with a 5-00 height as well.
Boys 200m Dash
North A - Akin Wankeith of Don Bosco wins with a 22.28.
South A - Taylor McLaughlin of Union Catholic wins with a 21.72!
Girls 200m Dash
Sydney McLaughlin wins the South A with a 24.44 out of the unseeded heat, .90 over second place!
Rosie Menyhart of Paramus Catholic takes the North A title with a 26.39.
Girls Discus Throw
Alyssa Wilson of Donovan Catholic wins South A with a 153-04!! NJ#1 US#20
Danielle Line of Pope John XXIII wins North A with a throw of 111-11.

Brian Sagendorf of Union Catholic wins with a mark of 187-00 for the South A.

Union Catholic wins South A with a time of 3:21.09 holding off a strong final leg by CBA's Mike Zupko, CBA's time 3:21.80.
