Boys Distance Medley


Summit boys take the DMR running hot, they post a 10:29.40!!! NJ#2 US#6! Leland Jones closes his anchor with a 4:19 split!! They bump down the 10:29.57 ran by West Windsor South last night to US#7. NJ now holds the 6 spots of the top 15 on the National DMR Rankings. The Yale Track Classic this weekend took over man of the top spots.

Summit 1st with 10:29.40, Robbinsville 10:49.05, Voorhees, 10:51.50, Pascack Hills 10:44.83, Holmdel 10:56.54, Chatham 10:57.18.

Girls Medley is on the track lets see if the DMR keeps the amazing times going. After Seneca led for most of the race Robbinsville came through on the last lap with a huge kick to take the victory in the seeded heat. Great race.

Robbinsville won with a time of 12:41.76 NJ#5. Seneca 12:42.75, Rumson Fair Haven 12:46.57, Sterling 12:49.50, Chatham 12:56.27, Monmouth Regional 13:05.18.

Boys Shuttle Hurdles

Hurdles are setup and the boys are ready to hurdle some temporary track fencing.

Highland Regional destroys with a 31.04 NJ#3 to win. Matawan in second with 31.53. Camden 32.64, Pemberton 32.73, Manchester Twp 32.96, Governor Livingston 33.64.

Camden girls come through with a 33.51 NJ#8 to win the shuttle!

Boys heats have been set and we're ready to run fast.

Deptford boys win gold with an awesome three wide finish in between Deptford, second place Matawan, and third place Rahway! Deptford ran 1:33.85, Matawan 1:33.97, Rahway 1:34.19, Highlands Reg 1:34.78, West Essex 1:34.91, Parsippany 1:36.25.

Deptford girls match the boys team and complete a sweep of the 4x200m relay!! The girls not only won gold with their time of 1:44.75 but also broke the Group 2 meet record of 1:45.61 set by Hopewell Valley back in 2009! They already hold the NJ#1 US#14 spot in the rankings this season thanks to their 1:43.30 at the Hispanic Games just over a week ago.

Deptford 1:44.75, Camden 1:48.18, Holmdel 1:49.64, Matawan 1:49.99, Delsea 1:51.75, Chatham 1:51.91.

Morris Hills wins with a 8:05.11 NJ#3 US#11 this also blasted the previous meet record held by Highland Regional with a 8:10.06 just last year.

Morris Hills 8:05.11, Bernards 8:11.34, Raritan 8:24.83, Summit 8:34.02, Delsea 8:34.11, Pascack Hills 8:34.77.

Chatham takes the lead away from Rumson-Fair Haven on the bell and kicks it home for a time of 9:55.95. NJ#7

Sprint Medley just closed Matawan comes back from third to win! Official times coming.

Matawan wins with a 3:40.53! Highland Reg 3:41.63, Rahway 3:42.87, Summit 3:44.31, Hanover Park 3:44.81, Chatham 3:44.92.

Girls are currently running at a rapid pace around the track.

In the seeded heat Marin Warner of Holmdel hunts down the lead and never looks back bringing home the gold for the Hornets! The girls ran 4:14.89 for NJ#4 US#10!

Ewing out kicks Deptford in a battle of speed on the last leg of the 4x400m!

Ewing runs a NJ#7 time of 3:28.44, Deptford 3:29.17, Chatham 2:35.83, West Essex 3:35.98, Delsea 3:37.09, Rahway 3:37.09.

Summit comes out in front on the last lap to win the 4x400m!! 4:11.01

Rumson Fair Haven clinched the team title with their second place finish at 4:11.53!

Boys Shot Put

Matawan takes the Shot Put relay with 89-06.75! Donald Smalls a sophomore with the best throw of the meet at 47-05.25 and Mike Kawka 42-01.50.

Girls Shot Put

Madison wins the relay with a total of 72-00.75. Helene Rowland 36-08, Helen Anderson 35-04.75.

The best throw of the meet was by Jordan Wildermuth of Jefferson with a mark of 37-06.

Morris Hills takes first with 11-10 of total air. They were led by Isaiah Turner at 6-00 and Kyle Gaeb at 5-10.

Best jump of the day goes to Ameer Banks of Delsea at 6-04.

Morris Hills, West Essex, Highland Reg, Matawan, Delsea, Manchester Twp tied with Cedar Creek.

Boys Pole Vault

Delsea takes the Pole Vault relay with 25-00 they were led by Vince Coppola and Jarrod Brovero at 12-06. Best vault of the day goes to Matthew Isaacson of Matawan at 14-00.

Girls Pole Vault

Holmdel wins the Pole Vault with 20-00, Mahwah has to settle for second with the same at 20-00.

Holmdel's Keira Yonclas 10-00 and Kelly McKay 10-00. Highest vault of the meet went to Nicole Macco at 11-00.
