Indoor season is here again! We are pretty pumped to get started. To get warmed up for the season let's all take a look at the top returners from last year's performances.
Girls Events - 55m - 400m - 1600m - 55mH - 800m - 3200m - Shot Put - Pole Vault - High Jump
Boys Events - 55m - 400m - 1600m - 55mH - 800m - 3200m - Shot Put - Pole Vault - High Jump
These will be linked as the event's respective article is released.
*Note these performances only include last indoor season, not outdoor.
Most of the talented 3200m field returns for indoor, losing the likes of Megan Curham of Villa Walsh Academy to Princeton University and and other top talented 2013 seniors only leaves more room of the rest of the talented distance girls to step in. Mackenzie Barry had the fastest overall indoor time last season with a 10:38.54 at MOCs. We may not see Josette Norris of Tenafly for a while, who is recovering from a running injury that she suffered at the XC Meet of Champions. She had the second time with a 10:39.74 ran at the Eastern States Champs. The likes of Courtney Thompson, Grace Dwyer, Kerry Dyke, Clarissa Modde, Rachel Belmont and on and on are all right there to battle for the top spot. I see some great races ahead, especially with majorly talented incoming freshman.
