Following the lead of Coach Slatts' enthusiasm the boy's 4 x 200 relay smashed an 8 yr old school record at last night's Metropolitan Invitational.

Marc Cenicola set the tone early by putting the Caseys in solid position and than youth was served. Sophmores Connor McNamara and Craig Levine turned in personal best splits with freshman sensation Tommy Spernall bringing the stick home in 1:38.7 to better the old mark by almost 3 seconds..

Other meet highlights included Mary Kate Byrne's lifetime best 5:15.6 in the 1600 and frosh Emily Rienzo's 5:28.4 to qualify for the freshman mile in next month's New Balance Indoor National Championships.
