Dear Coach: The Wallkill Valley High School Track and Field Club would like to invite you to the 24th running of the Ranger Relays on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at one of the best track and field facilities in Northern New Jersey. This meet has been sanctioned for New Jersey high schools. Spikes are permitted on all running and jumping surfaces at Wallkill Valley. All New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) rules will be in effect. We will have two levels of track and field competitions: Boys Varsity, Girls Varsity, Novice Boys, Novice Girls. Medals will be awarded to the first FIVE places in each event. Varsity teams, which place, will be scored as follows: 10-8-6-4-2-1. B teams will receive medals for placing; however, points will NOT be awarded. Displaced teams will receive points for placing, but will not be awarded medals. Trophies will be awarded to the top teams in both the boys and girls varsity division. There will be a large school (groups 4 & 3) trophy for boys and girls and a small school (groups 2 & 1) trophy for boys and girls.

In order for a team to place in a field event, both individuals must clear a height or mark a distance.
Novice athletes are classified as non-varsity participants.
