As a freshman, ran on the top qualifying 4x800 team at the Penn Relays, where he ran in the Championship of America. At his County race he finished 2nd with a 1 58, second only to his brother Gigi who was a senior. He was nominated 2nd team all county. He also ran on the 4x400 team that broke 4 20, and the Notre Dame DMR team that went 10:21 at the East Coast Relays. Truly a talented kid with lots of room to grow as a runner.
