The curtain has come down on another outstanding outdoor track & field season in New Jersey. So many great athletes, so many terrific performances! NJRunners proudly brings you its 2011 All State Teams, honoring the great runners, jumpers and throwers of the Garden State.
* NJRunners goes 2 full teams with honorable mentions for as many athletes as we feel are deserving
* Athletes may be named in more than one discipline
* All legitimate high school athletes are eligible for consideration (no post grads)
* Relays Team All State Selections are for the 3 relays which are run at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions (4x1, 4x4, 4x8)
We follow the following criteria in this order of importance in making selections;
1. Honors won;
2. Head-to-head competition;
3. Marks.
(Note athlete year in high school is taken from our database which is fed directly from meet results. If the year is incorrectly supplied from the meet it will be wrong in our database. Please tell us where you see incorrect years and we will make the change immediately).
