Union Catholic Girls Put on a Show at Non-Public A State Relays

Union Catholic took the points lead early and never looked back on Thursday during the girls Non-Public A state relay championship. The squad had a clean sweep on the track winning every event and also found success in the field en route to their 72 point total, a whole 35 ahead of second place. This was Union Catholic's fourth straight relay title. 

Some of their top highlights included... In the DMR the girls ran a NJ#1 US#7 time of 12:24! For the shuttle they set a NJ#2 time of 32.34, their 4x800 team ran 9:41.47 for the win, 4x200 got the job done with a 1:46.21. The 4x800 and 4x200 were fast for the Bubble track but they already had better times elsewhere this season.  For the full team breakdown check out the table below. 

Other Highlights

Tiffany Bautista cleared 5-04 to help Paramus Catholic win the high jump relay, teammate Isabelle Dely over 5-00. Holy Angels won the shot put and pole vault relay. Anya Skae led the team and meet at 36-03 for the shot put, teammate Cara Czvekus 5th overall 32-09. With a total height of 19-00 Caroline McGann, 11-00, and Jennifer McGann, 8-00, won the pole vault relay.
