CBA Adds to 4xMile History With National Title | Big Day for New Jersey


The Christian Brothers Academy boys won a national title in the 4 x mile relay on Saturday with a time of 17:25.47. Their crew was made up of Brian Hill (4:24.60), Tim McInerney (4:20.58), Noah Yuro (4:20.38), and Colin Trigani (4:19.91). CBA continues a long successful history in this event, they have won four of the past seven years the most recent in 2014 when they set the national record at 17:07.17. 

To add to their title win, in a showcase of depth, there was also a second CBA team in this race who placed fifth with a time of 17:58.20. New Jersey was all over this event, Colts Neck finished second three seconds behind at 17:28 after a strong anchor leg from Jordan Brannan who closed with a split of 4:13.92. The Bergen Catholic boys finished sixth to also become All-Americans running 17:59.36.
