Hopewell Valley duked it out with Morris Hills switching leads over the last few legs. Hopewell Valley came out on top though finishing with an 8:02.72 facility record! Morris Hills second at 8:03.50, both those teams have run faster this year and rank US#2 and #3 this season. CBA third at 8:06.16.

Taking the win with a lean at the line is sophomore Luke Colehower of Haddonfield. He out leaned Amir Brock of Egg Harbor to get the narrow victory. Colehower placed second at this meet in this event last year as a freshman.

Thanks to a furious last 50 meters, junior Mulual Mu of Trenton Central takes home the gold. Billy Hill of Franklin moved into second during the last 50 meters thanks to an equally great kick. CBA seniors Colin Trigani and Noah Yuro led much of the last lap until they were overtaken in the last 50m. They finished 3rd and 4th respectively. 2016 Cross Country MOC winner Elliot Gindi took fifth.

Rey Rivera of Old Bridge gives the meet record its biggest scare in years, running 1:52.18. The meet record is 1:51.72, set by Isaac Clark of Pleasantville in 2013. That time by Rivera is an NJ #1 and US #4 currently. Unofficial splits of 26.28, 28.48 (54.76), 29.59 (1:24.35), 27.76 (1:52.XX). Rivera also repeats as Indoor MOC winner, as he won last year in 1:54.09. Haig Rickerby of McNair Academy comes up for 2nd with a big PR of 1:54.45, an NJ #2 time.

Brannan and Roth exchanged the lead early and often with Brannan finally taking the lead for the good during the last 800m. Brannan's time of 9:08.32 is an NJ #1 and US #5. Roth came in second in 9:10.09, followed by his teammate William Hare in third in 9:13.66. Roth's time is a US #6 and NJ #2. Hare's time is a US #7 and NJ #3.
