In a battle on the track between Pennsylvania's best boys' cross country squad and New Jersey's best boys' cross country squad from this past fall, New Jersey took home the victory.
But Council Rock North still put down a PA#1 in a second place finish to Princeton (NJ) in the distance medley relay at Saturday's Lavino Relays, held at Lawrenceville Prep in NJ. CR North ran a time of 10:44.28, a state leader, while Princeton ran a NJ#1 of 10:39.68 behind a strong anchor leg from Alex Roth.
Pennsbury was impressive, taking third in the race in a time of 10:45.14, a PA#2. Central Bucks East went PA#4 and placing fourth with a time of 10:50.53.
