THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM EDITION

It was a rather low key weekend for a lot of the NJ Cross Country community, there were still a number of changes to the Top Ten Rankings this week, including the return of Kingsway to the group and the addition of South Brunswick on the Girls side.

This week starts the County/Conference portion of the calendar and a lot of really good races will be had among local rivals within the top teams throughout the state. Fasten your seat belts, the ride is about to start!

Runner of the Week: Lauren Kroepfl (Robbinsville '17) Kroepfl continued her stellar senior campaign with a 18:13 win to take the "B" Race at the XC Fall Classic last Saturday. The victory was Lauren's second of the season. Her time established a new Meet Record, breaking the former mark of fellow Mercer Co. alum Grace Dwyer (18:19 in 2012). It is also the AT #4 time over the Thompson Park layout.
