The Greystone Invite Varsity Large School race was moving pretty well on Saturday running the three fastest times of the season so far at Greystone Park. They were led by Abby Loveys of Randolph who won with a time of 18:43, she was followed by Anna George of Montville and Randolph teammate Brooke Olson. Abby Loveys already ranks second all-time for this meet which started in 2010, she ran 18:37 as a freshmen last year to win as well. The meet record is held by Tara Hanley of Chatham with her 18:37 in 2010. 

Randolph kept rolling from there scoring 29 points and averaging 19:41 to win the Large. They also led the overall meet merge with 41 points, Union Catholic finished second in the merge and first in the small school division. The Union Catholic girls were led by sophomore Jerika Lufrano who won her division and ran 19:30 to rank fourth overall for the meet. Lufrano moves up to 22nd all-time for the meet with her 2016 performance. 

On the boys side Scotch Plains-Fanwood rocked both the Large School race and overall meet merge with a 17:16 average and one minute split. In the merge they won with 65 points and were led by Brandon Garcia who placed fifth with a 16:43. 

Individually Corey McGhie of Rahway and Jonathan Mobisa of Union took it right to the line finishing first and second in the Large School race both clocking in at 15:56. They were the only sub-16 minute times by far for the meet and they both also broke the meet record of 16:15 held by Josiah Hanko of Trinity Christian School since 2012.
