While there were a host of big meets in-state this weekend, many Keystone State runners traveled across the Deleware to Marlton, New Jersey for the Cherokee Challenge. The race format is a two mile course and each race is broken up by class.

In the big story of the day, Conestoga's Dominique Shultz (above) upset the reigning New Jersey Meet of Champions winner Alyssa Aldridge in the girls' Junior Race, winning in a time of 11:38 (and her little brother, Carlos took the win in the Freshman Race!). Chester County kept it rolling into the Senior Race as Aislinn Devlin and Emma Planck went 1-2.

The Downingtown West boys had a day as well, winning the team compeititon in the Freshman, Junior, and Senior races and taking the overall team win!
