The NJSIAA has released their 2016 cross country regulations.
The full regulations are linked below but let's go over some of the highlights heading into this season. You may notice some minor attire changes out there as well as some extra bodies toeing the Meet of Champions line this November.
Some of the major notes going into the season:
- Online Registration! The NJSIAA Cross County State Meets will now use MileSplit Online Registration! Here is the registration page. We have been using this system for a few yeas with track and field. (Directions on page 2 of the regulations).
- Public and Non-Public schools now have the same entry deadline of October 19th, 2016.
- WATCHES! Competitors may now wear wrist watches. So you'll just have to show off those hard earned watch tans somewhere else.
- Extra Team Wildcard! The Meet of Champions will now be accepting one more overall wildcard team per gender.
