Girls Highlights and Winners

  • Group 4 4x400m - Columbia girls win with a 4:02.63 NJ#2 time!
  • Group 4 3200m - Sophie Spring of Ridge wins with an 11:18.18. 
  • Group 1 4x400m - Whippany Park takes it with a 4:17.45. 
  • Group 1 3200m - Danielle Buro of Whippany Park wins with a time of 12:27.86. 
  • Group 4 55m - Iyanna Jenkins of Linden runs 7.46 to win. 
  • Group 1 55m - Amahri Boyce of North Star Academy wins with a 7.42. 
  • Group 4 Shot - Kayla Singleton of Watchung Hills marks 35-00.25. 
  • Group 4 800m - Brooke Schaeffer of Westfield wins running 2:18.46 NJ#9!
  • Group 1 55H - Shannon Meledathu of McNair Academic takes the final at 9.21. Teammate Gabriella Welles 2nd at 9.69. 
  • Group 4 55H - Jamina Morris of JP Stevens wins 8.77. 
  • Group 1 HJ - Kristen Hal of Whippany Park wins on a 5-02 jump, teammate Gina Dello Russo same height in 2nd. 
  • Group 4 PV - Cristina Young of Bridgewater Raritan clears 9-06 to win. 
  • Group 1 800m - Mehek Parikh of Secaucus runs 2:33.45 for the win. 
  • Group 1 Shot - Nickolette Dunbar of Whippany Park wins the shot with a 52-11.25 NJ#2 US#2 mark!! Teammate Kate Matrisciano 2nd with 37-00.75. This is also the longest throw recorded at indoor sectionals all-time!
  • Group 4 1600m - North Hunterdon goes 1-2! Anna DiMarcello wins it with a 5:13.29 and her sister Ellie DiMarcello a freshmen 5:14.75. Ridge also advances all three of their athletes in this race. 
  • Group 1 PV - Gina Dello Russo of Whippany Park has been busy so far, her second gold medal of the meet with a 9-03 clearance. Her teammate Francesca Kaspar 2nd at 9-03 as well. 
  • Group 1 1600m - Elizabeth O'Connell of Glen Ridge, a sophomore, wins with a 5:34.81. 
  • Group 4 400m - Brooke Fazio of Ridge runs 58.59 NJ#9 for the win. 
  • Group 1 400m - Gina Dello Russo of Whippany Park wins with a time of 60.66

Boys Highlights and Winners 

  • Group 4 4x400m - East Orange wins with  a 3:29.82
  • Group 4 3200m - Jared Pangallozzi of Columbia 9:51.21 come from behind victory! Ryan Siegel of Westfield 2nd with 9:51.45. 
  • Group 1 4x400m - McNair Academic wins with a 3:33.60. 
  • Group 1 3200m - Pelle Nogueira of Glen Ridge runs 10:20.97 to win. 
  • Group 1 Shot - Machai Beal of Shabazz wins with a 46-08.75. 
  • Group 1 55m - Bruce Osei-Frimpong of North Start Academy wins with a time of 6.78. 
  • Group 4 55m - Akeem Lindo of East Orange wins with 6.63. 
  • Group 4 800m - Aaron John of JP Stevens 1:59.01 
  • Group 4 Shot - Albert Crespo of Phillipsburg wins with a mark of 49--06.75. 
  • Group 1 800m - Haig Rickerby of McNair Academic wins with a time of 2:00.58. 
  • Group 4 HJ - Charon Jenkins of East Orange wins at 6-04 on jumps. Second is Max Michel of Elizabeth at 6-04. 
  • Group 4 55H - Eric Moul of North Hunterdon crosses the line at 7.77. 
  • Group 4 1600m - Jonathan Mobisa of Union wins with the fastest time of the afternoon meet 4:28.12. 
  • Group 1 1600m - Sean Sullivan of Rutherford wins with a time of 4:32.88. 
  • Group 1 PV - Scott Catlett of Rutherford clears 9-06. 
  • Group 4 PV - Cooper Bertoldo of Phillipsburg clears 13-00 for the win. 
  • Group 1 HJ - Robert Greenwald of Whippany Park clears 6-00 for the win. 
  • Group 4 400m - Adrian Anderson of Piscataway takes the win with 51.22. 
  • Group 1 400m - Haig Rickerby McNair Academic wins with a 50.34.
