We are live here at Six Flags! Weather is windy, cool, and overcast. There are teams here from six states (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland)! Hopefully we'll see some fast times and no rain! The first race of the day (and the first of 24 races on the day) goes off at 9:00am with the Boys Varsity A.
9:00am - Gun is off!
With a scream of excitement across the line, Connor McMenamin takes the win and crushes the field in a close to course record time! He looks to be just shy of the course record of 15:39.
Word is he ran 15:41, so just 2 seconds shy of the meet record. Let's see if it holds up as the fastest time of the day.
9:30am - Delay in the meet as the finish line apparatus fell due to a rogue gust of wind. Races will resume as soon as things are fixed. We're about 30 minutes behind schedule now due to the delay.
9:55am - Races resume with the Boys JV A race going off.
3:15pm - We're all done here at Six Flags! A great meet as always. Now time to enjoy some roller coasters!
