MARY GRACE MONAHAN (MANALAPAN)
GIRLS SPRINTER OF THE YEAR
Recently finished 7th at MOC running a personal best of 56.27 in the 400m. She was fourth at Groups, and first at Sectionals. She also won the Shore Conference Champs 400m with a time of 56.90.
MARKEYTH OVERTON (CENTRAL REGIONAL)
BOYS SPRINTER OF THE YEAR
Won the Shore Conference 100m dash with a 10.86 and placed 8th at Groups in the 200m with a 22.54.
MARIN WARNER (HOLMDEL)
GIRLS DISTANCE RUNNER OF THE YEAR
Marin placed 6th at MOC in the 800m running a 2:13.14, she also took 2nd in the 800 at Groups, 2:13.07 personal best. Not to mention a third place finish of 4:57.41 in the 1600m at Groups.
ROB NAPOLITANO (RBC)
BOYS DISTANCE RUNNER OF THE YEAR
Rob recently took the 1600m Meet of Champions title with a 4:12.82 he had taken first at both Sectionals and Groups as well, including an 800m victory of 1:57.31 at Sectionals.
JESSICA HELMSTETTER (RARITAN)
GIRLS THROWER OF THE YEAR
Jess took second at NJ Meet of Champions in the Javelin with a mark of 134-7, her best being a 134-9 which she set winning the Shore Conference Championships.
JESSE BROWN (CENTRAL REGIONAL)
BOYS THROWER OF THE YEAR
Jesse Brown set a personal best at the right time, a 54-4.25 in the Shot Put at Meet of Champions for tenth place. He took fourth place in both the Discus (170-0) and Shot Put (52-4.5) at Groups.
DEANNA JOHNSON (FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP)
GIRLS JUMPER OF THE YEAR
Deanna Johnson placed fifth in the Triple Jump at Meet of Champions with a mark of 37-6, she won Shore Conference Champs at 37-8.75 and has a personal best in the event at 39-4.5.
JUSTIN LOVE (MATAWAN)
BOYS JUMPER OF THE YEAR
Justin took sixth in the Triple Jump, 46-0.5, and ninth in the High Jump getting over the 6-04 bar at Meet of Champions. His personal best in the high jump came at indoor Easterns where he went 6-09, and his triple jump best is a 46-4.25
